Back to the Keep

May 16, 2000

I'm going to break my rule about using my lofty position as editor for personal gain. I have extended my foray into publishing by founding Silver Lake Publishing. I'll be offering books in standard electronic formats (PDF and e-book reader), and quite possibly print as well. (Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be experimenting to see if I can get satisfactory quality.)

By September the site should be prettier, flashier and filled with some merchandise. One of the books slated for production is an anthology of new stories by Fables authors.

I am reading submissions for Silver Lake Publishing (novels and collections--check out the guidelines for more details). This new venture won't change the publication schedule of Fables (though it was yet another factor that made reading periods attractive).
