Welcome to the new millennium!

Hmm. Somehow, with all the hype last year, it just doesn't sound as impressive as it should, does it?

Silver Lake Publishing now has a catalog! The first releases are Nemeton, including stories by sixteen Fables authors, Puzzles of Flesh by Jason Brannon, The Courtship of María Rivera Peña by Daniel A. Olivas and Crystal Treasure by Atk. Butterfly.

I'd like to encourage everyone to vote in the Preditors & Editors Reader Poll and Electronic Runes. The P&E poll has been around since 1997, which makes it older than the Hugo in internet years. Electronic Runes is new this year; we take nominations in January, and in February readers vote on the top nominated works, people and publications. I'm obviously biased toward work from Fables, but even if you vote for something else, please do vote.
