February 28, 2002

It's hello and good-bye time. So, to work in reverse order:

Michael Lohr is no longer the Poetry Editor for Fables. He's done an amazing job in a year and a half; without him, we wouldn't have a Poetry section at all, and I am incredibly pleased by its success. His hard work is going to be reflected for several issues to come as we continue to publish the poetry accepted during his tenure.

Bryn Powell (my sister) is our new Poetry Editor. Since I've forgiven her for all the horrible things she did to me when we were children, I encourage everyone to be nice to her. She will begin reading submissions immediately (however, since the Poetry section is filled for the next several issues, there will be significant lead-time before the publication of newly accepted poems).

My spousal unit, Lawrence D.P. Miller, is now officially the Art Editor as well as the Audio Editor and general technical guy. In other words, if there's a problem with any of the new e-mail addresses, blame him.

March is going to be my catch-up month, for Fables and a host of other things; those of you still waiting for a response on September submissions will be getting one shortly. The Spring 2002 issue is on schedule to be released at the end of March or beginning of April. If you're interested in submitting to the magazine, please check out the new submission guidelines.
